 The Mission in Citrus is a transparent Non Profit Charity.. All can tour and visit us to see where and how their donations are used.. Come visit us.. Where your dollars are honored.. Using less dollars by using more sense….

We have the following emergency needs.

  • Money is our greatest need for bills.We now have five shelters- The combined bills and needs are  $15,000 a month. Much less than all other shelters, while housing 75% more homeless residents.

The mens and womens emergency shelters in Crystal River, Florida. Shelter # 1 and 2      Houses 70

The Veteran’s Shelter in Inverness, Florida Shelter # 3 – Houses 22

The new women and children’s shelter in Floral City, Florida  Shelter # 4 – Houses 9

And our new Hernando Florida Shelter Outreach # 5 – Houses 7

  • Funding is our biggest need at this time.
  • Tents , sleeping bags,gas cards, and pay as you go cards for AT&T.
  • Bus Tickets

The following items will be used at the Mission in Citrus Shelter main office located at 2488 North Pennsylvania Ave, Crystal River Florida 34428. We are a Florida not-for-profit corporation. Thus, your gift will be acknowledged and you may use this for tax purposes to the extent of the law.We are a 501(C) 3 Public Charity

Reminders:

Clothing , furniture, yard sale items, boats, and vehicles can be dropped off at the shelter.Usable clothing only.

A box truck is badly needed for food and donation pickups.

Fresh vegetables , fruits, and other foods are always appreciated.
